The Iliad is located between Broadway on Capitol Hill & Downtown Seattle.
The neighborhood has changed quite a bit in the last 10 years. For the last few years before 2010 you could not go more than a couple of blocks without seeing a crane erected somewhere. Unfortunately most of the new buildings remain about 5-10 stories high limiting the amount of people who can enjoy this great area and the new buildings were made to look like the old buildings so it is sometimes hard to tell the old from the new.
In the end it is all about location and we are in a great place !
The Iliad is close to the offices of Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Adobe, Nintendo, Sony, Boeing and may other tech companies. We are one mile from the world famous Space Needle and very close to the interstate/highway/freeway aka I5. There are many bike trails and bike friendly places to travel.
There are world-renowned medical facilities like FHCRC and the University of Washington and many art colleges such as Cornish and the Art Institutes.
