The Paintings in the Halls

The Iliad has commissioned a local artist to provide paintings for the halls. There is at least one or more on each floor.
More information about the artist can be found here. www.FranHolt.com & IliadPaintings.pdf

The Iliad Building

The Iliad was built in 1970. The Iliad is a wood frame building with two inches of  gypsum concrete between each floor. Every apartment has double pane locking windows and it is a very well insulated building. You will probably never turn your heat on for more than a couple of months a year.

Remodeling started with the halls around 2005 and continued as apartments became vacant.  We have not asked any tenant to vacate and have remodeled the apartments as they become available. This has caused a few differences in the apartments, so in addition to most of the apartments having different floor plans, they also have different cabinets, granite and fixtures, etc., but they are mostly the same.

The outside of the building has not been remodeled yet and does not match the quality of the inside.

Pets are no longer accepted at the Iliad.

Because of the damage caused by pets we are no longer accepting pets in the remodeled apartments. We love pets and are very sorry this has not worked out over the years. We simply can not collect enough deposit to cover the damage.  While it is true most pet owners are responsible and do not cause damage, we have had some very bad experiences so we will provide a pet free environment as apartments are remodeled.

NO SMOKING !

If you or your friends smoke outside and not in your apartment, please smoke far enough away from the Iliad so your smoke does not enter the building.  Leave your cigarette butts off the property, as far away from the Iliad as you can.  Most of the tenants of the Iliad do not smoke. They do not want to look at or smell a pile of cigarette butts entering or exiting the building and they most certainly do not want to walk through a cloud of smoke to enter or exit the building.  Do not smoke under the carport, in the front or the back of the building or anywhere near the garage.

In addition to smoking off the Iliad property, be sure to stay 25 feet away from any entrance to the Iliad building.
